Nomination election irregularities dominate news agenda again as political parties resist reform

The best solution to fix party nomination election controversies is to let Elections Canada oversee the process.
Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith lost the May 9 provincial nomination race in the riding of Scarborough Southwest. He has since filed an appeal with the party challenging the outcome, which is scheduled to be heard on May 20 in Toronto.

Here we go again: another nomination election, another controversy.
