Japan is Canada’s anchor in the Indo-Pacific

This week Mark Carney is visiting Japan, his first trip there since he became prime minister last year. The visit will be the final leg of a consequential trip to three of the Indo-Pacific's key democracies, with earlier stops in India and Australia.
