Bill C-15: the hits and misses in the big beautiful budget implementation bill

The budget bill covers high-speed rail and privacy law changes, among others, but neglects to mention other promises, like automatic tax filing for low-income Canadians.
Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne tabled Bill C-15, the budget implementation bill, in the House of Commons on Nov. 18. The bill, more than 600 pages long, covers a lot of ground, though there aren't many surprises.

The minority Liberals narrowly survived a confidence vote to approve the government’s budgetary policy, but the budget implementation process is only beginning.
