Senate amends rules for regional offices, spares East Block cafeteria

The East Block cafeteria has survived the chopping block—at least for now—after Senators recently weighed closing it, and replacing it with a vending machine.

Senators recently amended the Red Chamber’s office management policy so as to continue allowing for the operation of regional offices after initially considering scrapping the practice in light of new Labour Code and accessibility obligations.
