The future looks bleak, but it doesn’t have to be
The current batch of leadership candidates appears woefully unprepared for—if not utterly disinterested in addressing—the challenges that face us on multiple fronts (environmental, social, economic) and resort to either sloganeering without substance, or otherwise burying their hands in the sand. Canadians are anxious, dispirited, and disillusioned about things getting better anytime soon. The best thing our leaders can do is to prove them wrong.
