Taiwan, Israel popular destinations as sponsored travel returns to near pre-pandemic levels

Since the 2021 election, 85 MPs have disclosed a combined 128 instances of sponsored travel to destinations in Canada and abroad.

The country's economic and cultural office has sponsored the travel of 21 MPs since the 2021 election.

MPs have accepted more than $1-million combined in sponsored travel since the 2021 election, according to disclosures made to the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner.
