Careless vetting provides history lesson for the ages
The old saying that “those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” got quite the workout over the past week, as those present in the House of Commons Chamber on Sept. 22 digested the ramifications of their applause for a man who served in the Waffen SS.
