With McKenna out, NDP sees opportunity to recapture Ottawa Centre

Ottawa Centre has historically flipped between the Liberals and the NDP at both the federal and provincial levels.
Following the announcement that Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna, pictured far left, won't seek re-election, former Ontario cabinet minister Yasir Naqvi jumped in the Ottawa Centre Liberal nomination race. There has been speculation that past Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney, centre, will seek the nomination.
