Trudeau appoints former labour leader, mayor, and port authority CEO to Senate

Hassan Yussuff and Bernadette Clement have been tapped to fill Ontario vacancies in the Red Chamber, while James Quinn will represent New Brunswick.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed three new Senators on June 22, tapping long-time union leader Hassan Yussuff, Cornwall mayor Bernadette Clement, and James Quinn, the chief executive officer of the Saint John Port Authority.
