New budget, cabinet would help Trudeau ‘reset’ the agenda, say Liberal insiders, pollster

The WE scandal has had a 'corrosive impact' on the public’s trust of Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government, but 'it has not been catastrophic, and there’s some evidence that it has plateaued,' says pollster Frank Graves. Meanwhile, Grit MP Wayne Easter says his own government has to find a way to message to the public that, 'for heaven's sake,' lessons were learned 'by some of our senior ministers.'
