Monitor symptoms for Kawasaki disease, Canada’s top doc tells parents, cautioning no known link yet to COVID-19

After initially failing to detect the virus that causes COVID-19 in reported cases of Kawasaki, officials thought it was inflammation, but reports later emerged in Europe that children showed antibodies against the coronavirus.
