‘It’s just not what climate leaders do’: protesters demand action at Ottawa climate rally

Thousands of protestors rallied in Ottawa on Sept. 27 to demand stronger climate action as similar events took place in cities across the country, including Toronto and Montreal, where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg before joining the march.
Thousands of protestors, both young and old, demonstrated in the streets of downtown Ottawa to call on governments to take stronger action against climate change, which some said could have dire consequences.

An estimated 5,000 people took to the streets in Ottawa on Friday to demand stronger climate action, shutting down streets in the city and joining millions more from around the world.
