Senators agree to new plans for offices when East Block emptied

An original plan for a new structure west of West Block is no longer in the works, says Senator Scott Tannas, as Senators claim space in new Wellington Street development for offices when East Block is refurbished.
Senators have taken up residence in their new interim Chamber in the Senate of Canada Building, but with more renovations on the Hill on the horizon, the Internal Economy Committee made some decisions about where offices will be located once East Block goes out of commission.
