Ethics czar’s senior counsel exercised ‘abundance of caution’ in recusal from SNC probe over potential conflict

Ethics Commissioner Mario Dion's senior investigator has had to relinquish involvement in at least two investigations, including the SNC-Lavalin probe, due to a perceived conflict of interest, according to the commissioner's office.
