Time running out for public servants’ jobs categorized as ‘affected’ under $5.2-billion cuts

The public service’s three major unions, PSAC, the PIPSC, and the Canadian Association of Professional Employees, filed grievances in June alleging that departments are not meeting their responsibilities to provide alternation avenues for workers who have lost their jobs but want to stay in the public service.
