Government urged to overhaul approval process on offshore drilling

The federal government doesn't need to rule out ever drilling for oil in Arctic waters, but before considering such a proposal it needs to overhaul the approval process for offshore drilling, Inuit leaders and experts told House Natural Resources Committee studying the issue last week.
