Next fall's Ontario election outcome may determine whether all our elections descend into cynical media-oriented theatrics, or remain tethered to some reality.
Spotting a newspaper photo of the premier of Ontario last week, I was reminded of the words of Canada's greatest living poet, Raymond Souster, in his immortal work Note For An Upcoming Election: "All of us should probably use/the word 'horseshit'/a lot more often."
