‘Hillier mania’: Don’t pick a fight with ‘the soldier’s soldier’
On Feb. 13, 2006, just after the January election, and in the middle of the Conservative government's transition to power, Gen. Rick Hillier, the Chief of the Defence Staff, held a special ceremony in Ottawa to celebrate the "transformation" of the Canadian Forces.
