Prime Minister protects incumbent MPs, Savoy denies ‘revolt’
The chair of the national Liberal caucus rejected rumours of a possible "revolt" in the government caucus last week and says Prime Minister Paul Martin decided last week to protect incumbent MPs from nomination challenges in their ridings because of the minority government status.
