Canada has ‘no current plans’ to reopen Libyan embassy while allied diplomats increasingly return to Tripoli

With the United States signalling that it will reopen its embassy in Libya, Canada could soon be the only G7 nation without a mission in Tripoli as the foreign ministry says there are no plans to reopen the embassy that has been shuttered since 2014.
