MPs champion unity in face of Alberta referendum, but Conservatives say quick vote needed to ‘get it over and done with’

Conservative and Liberal MPs on Parliament Hill were quick to stress their support for a unified Canada on the heels of news that Alberta’s government is putting the question of a referendum to its residents this fall.
