Procurement ombud says concerns remain over defence contracting years after ‘deeply troubling’ favouritism findings

The federal procurement watchdog says some concerns remain after a recent review found the defence department fell short of fulfilling all recommendations set out in a 2022 report that revealed the department had favoured certain bidders in its procurements.
