Off the record: government bills increasingly passing House without recorded tally

Thirty-one per cent of government bills during this Parliament had a recorded vote at third reading in the House, compared to 66 per cent in the 44th Parliament and 47 per cent in the 43rd Parliament.
MPs have risen from their chairs at a lower frequency during the 45th Parliament to cast a vote on government legislation at third reading compared to previous sessions.

During the current Parliament, MPs have been less likely to stand to cast their vote on government legislation to send it off to the Senate than in previous sessions.
