Some 1,700 expat voters are eligible to cast ballots in upcoming federal byelections

Elections Canada confirmed that all 1,770 Canadians living abroad registered as of April 1 have validated international addresses, following a recent registration ‘anomaly.’
The vast majority of the Canadians living abroad who were registered to vote in the three upcoming federal byelections as of April 1 are eligible to vote in the University–Rosedale, Ont., race.

A little more than 1,700 Canadians living abroad have registered to vote in the three federal byelections coming up on April 13, according to Elections Canada.
