First Nations leaders unveil artifacts returned to Canada from Vatican City

The five artifacts that have now been made public are pieces of a collection of 62 Indigenous artifacts that were returned to Canada from Vatican City back in December.
Assembly of First Nations National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak and other leaders unveil five recently repatriated artifacts on March 10 at the Canadian Museum of History. Many of the other items' provenance is still being investigated, after which they will be returned to the custody of their home communities.
