To be shielded from nomination challenges, incumbent Liberal MPs must meet conditions by Labour Day: new rules

In the midst of ongoing election speculation, the federal Liberals have set Sept. 7 as the deadline for all 169 MPs to meet nomination criteria set by the party, or face an open nomination race.
