Anti-d’Entremont diatribes unbecoming of purported leaders

MPs are elected to be leaders. And if this is the behaviour they’re modelling, then it’s a losing battle against any other societal misbehaviour they’re seeking to stamp out.
It’s understandable that an MP crossing the floor of the House of Commons can feel like a betrayal for those left behind, but MPs’ own behaviour shouldn’t be easily picked up as an example for bad actors.

The news out of Nova Scotia last weekend following MP Chris d’Entremont’s defection across the aisle from the Conservatives to the Liberals is that the local RCMP is investigating online threats made against the politician.
