Fall budget cycle ‘great news’ for ‘more timely’ northern project planning, says N.W.T. finance minister

Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne announced the government is moving to a permanent fall budget cycle, breaking from the tradition of spring budgets. Leaders from the North say the move could help with financing for big infrastructure projects.
