Prime Minister Mark Carney’s winning Liberal leadership run cost $3.9M, and posts $1.2M surplus

According to Elections Canada, Carney’s campaign raised just more than $5-million from more than 25,000 donations over the 45-day Liberal leadership race that ran Jan. 23 through March 9.
