A spring election may push budget to fall 2025, says former PBO Page

The lengthy prorogation will also 'complicate and put at risk' the approval of supply funds—spending money, essentially—for the government, says ex-parliamentary budget officer Kevin Page. 
The House of Commons has been prorogued until March 24.

This year’s budget may not come out until the fall if the government loses a confidence vote in the House of Commons in late March, according to Canada’s former parliamentary budget officer Kevin Page.
