The House Finance Committee has received 828 submissions about what Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland should include in the next federal budget.

The House Finance Committee has received the second-highest number of pre-budget submissions in at least a decade, which one non-profit advocacy group says shows the importance of the practice being only one part of a group’s budget lobbying arsenal.
