Reflections on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action form an ongoing commitment to awareness, compassion, and healing. Roughly 85 per cent of them are either underway or actioned.

In reflecting on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, I've always stated that reconciliation is a journey, not a destination. In attempting to understand the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action, three prominent themes stand out.
