Dental care plan a generational chance for change 

Canada has taken historic strides in dental care and accessibility to help vulnerable people across the country.

On June 27, Health Minister Mark Holland announced an extension of the dental care program to provide coverage for children under the age of 18 and people with a valid Canada Disability Tax Credit.

The federal government’s dental care plan taps into a core Canadian value: caring for each other and our most vulnerable populations. The historic plan takes care of Canadians’ oral health on a more equitable basis to support vulnerable people across the country.
