The annual Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards was a swanky way to recognize lifetime achievement and volunteerism in Canada's performing arts scene, and celebrate emerging and mid-career artists.
The National Arts Centre rolled out the red carpet for some of the biggest names in Canadian hip hop, opera, theatre, and songwriting on June 8 for the annual Governor General's Performing Arts Awards.
