Canada raises cap on temporary Gaza visa program, but has yet to get a single person across the border

Since the special visa program for families of Canadians in Gaza opened in January, only 254 individuals have been able to cross the border into Egypt by paying thousands of dollars in bribes, and only 41 have safely arrived in Canada.
