Only 89 of 156 Liberal MPs have so far been nominated for next election, a year after deadline

Nine cabinet ministers and the national caucus chair still have not met the nomination conditions, raising questions how many Liberal MPs are not seeking re-election in 2025.

A year after the nomination deadline has passed for incumbent Liberal MPs, only 89 of 156 sitting members have met the conditions set by the party to reoffer themselves in the next election without going through messy nominations.
