Former Liberal prime minister Jean Chrétien won three straight majority governments in 1993, 1997, and 2000, and is the 40th recipient of the Churchill Society's Award of Excellence.

Former prime minister Jean Chrétien will receive the Award of Excellence for Parliamentary Service from the Churchill Society for the Advancement of Parliamentary Democracy on Nov. 29.
