NDP plans humanitarian exemption amendment for bill easing aid restrictions

The New Democrats say they will be pushing for an exemption on humanitarian grounds to a government bill that is attempting to allow Canadian aid groups to operate in terrorist-controlled areas and not run afoul of criminal law.
