Federal spending down 21.6 per cent in 2021-22 after COVID-fuelled high

After topping the list in 2020-21, Employment, Workforce Development, and Disability Inclusion was the second-highest spending federal department, thanks to a 43 per cent decrease in expenditures, leaving Finance Canada with the top spot.
