MPs will sit for four weeks before the House breaks for another six. There will be plenty to do before the government can meaningfully advance its new legislative agenda.

Liberal House officers will have to move quickly if they want to put a dent in the government’s agenda in the slim window of time that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given them to get Parliament up and running before the Christmas break.
