Mitigating oil spills with biotechnology

The Government of Canada should develop specialized initiatives to provide the support for further research of biotechnology in oil spill response.

The current plan and its policies attach great importance to oil spill response. Pollution control is a crucial component of sustainable development in the oil industry.
