Foreign victims should have right to sue Canadian companies, urges human rights group

The Canadian Network on Corporate Accountability released draft legislation with the backing of two major unions last week.

Those workers had fought a legal battle for years over whether Canadian courts could hear their case. Proposed legislation from the Canadian Network on Corporate Accountability would enshrine the right for foreign workers to sue Canadian companies in some circumstances into law.
