Feds mum on meeting pharmacare advisory panel’s timelines as consultations continue

The federal government is hoping to “launch” a national strategy to tackle the high cost of drugs for rare diseases sometime next year, suggesting it may not meet its advisory panel’s recommended timeline to have a plan in place by Jan. 1.
