Arigato Canada, a friend indeed

On the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, I believe that Japan should repay Canada’s generous support by paying forward to help our friends in their efforts to improve their own safety and stability.
The March 11, 2011, earthquake was the mightiest one ever recorded in Japan. Many Canadians extended a hand to the Japanese people and the generosity of spirit of Canadians deeply touched our hearts, writes Japanese Ambassador Yasuhisa Kawamura.
