House agrees to extend hybrid sittings, takes step closer to adopting remote voting app

It's up to each leader of the four recognized parties to inform the House Speaker they're 'satisfied' that all issues have been addressed and to give the green light for adopting the app.
Associate Finance Minister Mona Fortier, and Ottawa-Vanier Liberal MP, says the parties reached unanimous consent to extend the arrangement for hybrid sittings until June 23.
The House of Commons unanimously agreed on Monday to extend the arrangement for hybrid sittings until June, with plans to adopt remote voting via app after House administration conducts “two comprehensive simulations” with MPs.
