Not yet clear if MPs will pay steeper price for holiday travel abroad, say politicos, but damage could come at polls
'If anybody’s going to cut them some slack, I think it would be me, and I have no room for any slack,' says former veteran NDP MP David Christopherson, of the growing list of public officials who travelled overseas in defiance of public health recommendations over the holiday break.

It is too early to say if some politicians caught travelling abroad over the holidays will face long-term consequences, say some Hill observers, as timing will play a big role in determining if they lose their jobs in the next vote.
