Sinclair offers true reconciliation, Beyak should show same respect

Senator Murray Sinclair told The Hill Times last week: 'One of the aspects of reconciliation, which I have espoused from the beginning of my tenure as a Senator, and during my time as chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, is that, in order for us to achieve reconciliation, we have to recognize that there are obligations on both sides of the discussion. Obligations on the part of Indigneous people, and obligations on the part of non-Indigenous people, to figure out how to come together.'
