Ottawa’s relief measures for businesses could soar to more than $9.1-billion, says PBO

It has yet to cost the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance program, which was just announced earlier this week. That program, which was negotiated with provinces and territories, will lower rent for small businesses affected by COVID-19 by 75 per cent.
