May calls on Trudeau to attend Madrid climate summit, increase targets

The Greens' Elizabeth May says her three-member caucus isn’t prepared to back any confidence motions unless Canada adjusts its climate targets.

The Green Party’s Elizabeth May says she has “urged” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to attend the upcoming climate summit in Madrid, where countries will be hammering out the details for the implementation of the Paris accord's climate targets.
