May resigns as party leader, but, thankfully, she stays on as parliamentary leader
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May announced last Monday on the Hill that she was resigning as federal party leader, ending a soulful and substantive 13-year run as federal party leader. Ms. May will stay on as parliamentary leader in this new Parliament, but she has passed on the party's leadership.
